It appears that the transom was replaced a few years ago. Minimal maintenance needed. Recently varnished. Previous owner was the service manager of Marine Max in Sandusky Ohio. Motor is a 1956 30hp Evinrude, manual start. In excellent shape but needs the hood to be repainted.
|37652||15 Feet 1960 Lyman Outboard||$11,900|
|After a complete 2 year restoration (keel, ribs, bottom, transom, interior, windshield & deck), this Lyman took her maiden voyage (June 2006 on Lake Erie). Over the next 10 years, this little outboard has cruised all the Great Lakes, the Finger lakes, Lake Chautauqua, Erie Canal, Hudson River, St. Lawrence Seaway & Lake George in NY. Other cruises include Les Cheneaux Islands, Traverse Bay, Lake Charlevoix & Tawas Bay in MI plus 3 lakes in Indiana & another in SC. One picture is from the 1st of 3 cruises on the St. John's river in FL. Being based in Cleveland, all the inland lakes in Ohio have been cruised. No, the engine is not vintage but when you turn the key it starts right up, sips gas, and is fun to drive. Fresh varnish on transom, deck, and windshield completed December 2016. This is an award-winner that needs nothing but a new captain! |

|This is the last of three Lymans I've restored in recent years. I bought the boat & trailer (without an engine) at the estate sale of my H.S. classmate. She sat in a barn for 17 years and has all good wood and no cracked ribs. I replaced and varnished all decking and trim inside and out. Following a nine month search I located a period-correct, Evinrude Lark in Chicago. I am proud to offer a completely restored Lyman Outboard in a fully-restoration condition, along with a solid trailer and working 1958 engine. (ABA note: this is a beautiful Lyman outboard in excellent condition at an attractive price.)|
